author Stephen Meyer's new novel will be discussed. The meeting at Jane's
house is thus the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd week. If the meeting at Jane's were the
2nd week, with the meeting at Ms. Dennis's the 3rd and the meeting featuring
Stephen Meyer's work the 4th (clue 1), since Kate isn't Ms. Dennis (10),
by clue 5, Jane would be Ms. Bradley, Mindfield would be discussed at
the meeting hosted by Ms. Dennis, and Kate would host the talk about
Stephen Meyer's latest novel. Nicole would host the 1st meeting and Jane the
Mitch Albom book discussion (9)--no (4). So, the meeting at Jane's residence
isn't the 2nd week. If the meeting at Jane's were the 3rd week, with the
meeting at Ms. Dennis's the 4th and the meeting featuring Stephen Meyer's book
the 5th (1), since Kate isn't Ms. Dennis (10), by clue 5, Jane would be
Ms. Bradley, Mindfield would be discussed at the meeting hosted by
Ms. Dennis, and Kate would host the Stephen Meyer book discussion. By clues
9 and 4, Nicole would host the 1st meeting; and author Michael Albom's novel
would be the topic at the 2nd. By clue 2, then, author Natalie Sparks's
latest work would be discussed at the meeting at Jane Bradley's house or
would be Mindfield--no (11). So, the meeting at Jane's residence isn't
the 3rd week and must be the 1st. The the meeting at Ms. Dennis's is the 2nd
and the meeting featuring author Stephen Meyer's new novel the 3rd of the
five (1). Since Kate isn't hostess to the Stephen Meyer book discussion (10),
by clue 5, Ms. Bradley is hosting the Stephen Meyer talk, Mindfield
will be discussed at the 4th club meeting, and Kate will have the 5th affair
at her home. By clues 2 and 11, Pizza in Paradise will be the topic
at the 1st meeting; and Natalie Sparks's new book will be discussed at the
2nd. By clue 3, Ms. Edgar is having the 4th club meeting at her residence;
and Kate is playing hostess to the discussion of author Paula Roth's latest
book. By clue 9, Nicole is Ms. Bradley; and the author of Mindfield
is Michael Albom. By elimination, Jack Grissom's new work will be the topic
at the 1st of the five book club discussions. Stephen Meyer's new novel is
The Night Runner, and Laurie is Ms. Edgar (6). By elimination, Monica
is Ms. Dennis. She is playing hostess to the club discussion of
Nth Degree, with Kate hosting the discussion of
Rough and Tumble 21 (8). Finally, by clue 7, Kate is Ms. Charles and
Jane Ms. Arnold. In sum, the five pre-holiday meetings of the Weekly Book
