| Any of the golfers who had a victory must have won quarterfinal matches,
so three of the four quarterfinal winners were Heather, Brianna (clue 1) and
Kristen (clue 3). Since Dina made it to the semifinals (5), she also won
in the quarterfinals. By clue 8, Faith lost to the Rivera girl in one
match; since Faith wasn't one of the quarterfinal victors, the Rivera girl
defeated her in the quarterfinals. The Rivera girl isn't Kristen, to whom
she lost (3), nor is the Rivera girl Heather, who beat Cheryl (1) in the
quarterfinals rather than Faith. The Rivera girl also isn't Brianna, since
Brianna defeated the Cathedral School golfer in the quarterfinals (1) and
Faith isn't the competitor from Cathedral (10). The Rivera girl is Dina.
Dina Rivera lost to Kristen, from Whitechapel Prep, in the semifinals (3, 5).
The golfer from Newfields won at least one match, over the Price girl (11),
who isn't Faith (6, 11); so the Newfields golfer isn't Dina Rivera (8).
The Newfields golfer isn't quarterfinal winner Brianna (11) and is therefore
Heather. In the quarterfinals, then, we have Kristen from Whitechapel Prep
winning one match, and Dina Rivera beating Faith in another; and we have
Heather from Newfields winning over Cheryl Silver, and Brianna defeating
the golfer from Cathedral School in the third and fourth matches. In the
semifinals, Kristen topped Dina Rivera (3). By clue 5, therefore, since
Heather is from Newfields, Brianna must be from Friends and lost to Heather
McKenzie in the other semifinal. By clue 11, one of Heather's victims in the
tournament was the Price girl; since the Price girl isn't Brianna (6, 11),
she must be Kristen, the third golfer Heather faces in addition to Brianna
and Cheryl Silver. So, Heather overcomes Kristen Price in the tournament
title match. By clue 7, one of Kristen's opponents is from Ste. Anne's
Academy--not Dina Rivera (9); Kristen won over the Ste. Anne's golfer in the
quarterfinals. By clue 9, the Ste. Anne's golfer is Erica, and Jessica is
from Cathedral School. By clue 12, Faith must be the Owens girl, and Dina is
from Holyrood. Faith is from Bolton Arms and Cheryl from Greystoke (8).
Neither Erica (4) nor Jessica from Cathedral (10) is the Thurman girl, so
Brianna is. Jessica is the Norris girl and Erica Woods (2). The Summerset
