The Wedding Party
The Jett wedding party enjoys the post-nuptials reception.
September 26, 2008
From the introduction, the bride and groom sat in the center of the head table, with the maid of honor and best man seated to their immediate right, with two bridesmaid-usher pairs to the right of the maid of honor and best man and three bridesmaid-usher pairs to the left of the bride and groom. By clue 1, bridesmaid Beth and her escort sat between and next to attendant Liam and his partner and Miss Rice and hers; while by clue 5, Erica and her partner sat between Alice and hers and Mr. Witt and his. Therefore, either Beth and her escort sat in the middle of the three party pairs to the left of the bride and groom with Erica and her escort then in the middle to the right of the newlyweds; or Beth and her escort sat in the middle of the three party pairs to the right of the bride and groom with Erica and her escort then in the middle to the left of the new Mr. & Mrs. Jeffrey Jett. If Beth and her escort sat in the middle of the three party pairs to the left of the bride and groom with Erica and her escort then in the middle to the right of the newlyweds, since Mr. Witt wasn't the best man (clue 2), by clue 5, he and his partner would have sat farthest to the right with Alice then maid of honor. By clue 3, Cher was seated to the immediate left of Miss Paisley; so Cher and her escort would have been seated farthest to the left of the newlyweds, and Beth would be Miss Paisley--no (8). Therefore, Beth and her escort sat in the middle of the three wedding party pairs to the right of the bride and groom with Erica and her escort then in the middle to the left of the new Mr. & Mrs. Jeffrey Jett. Since Miss Rice wasn't the maid of honor (6), by clue 1, Liam was best man; and Miss Rice and her usher escort sat farthest to the right of the newlyweds. Since Beth isn't Miss Paisley (8), by clue 3, Cher must have been seated farthest to the left of the new Mr. & Mrs. Jett, with Erica then Miss Paisley. By clue 5, Alice and her escort sat to the bride and groom's immediate left, while Cher and Mr. Witt were one pair. Miss Niven and her escort sat to the immediate right of Mr. Young and his wedding party partner (11). Mr. Young wasn't paired with Erica Paisley (8), so he must be best man Liam, with Beth Miss Niven. Dawn is Miss Rice (4) and Faith maid of honor. By clue 9, Greg was paired with Beth; and Faith is Miss Oates. By clue 12, Alice is Miss Mays and Cher Miss Queen. Since Alice Mays wasn't paired with Mr. Shaw (7), by clue 13, John was paired with Dawn Rice and Beth with Greg Shaw. By clue 10, Heath was Alice's partner and Mr. Vaughan Erica's. Heath's surname is Urban and John's is Timmons (12). Finally, Erica's escort was Ian and Cher's was Kyle (14). In sum, from left-to-right as the guests saw the head table, the wedding party sat as follows:

  • Dawn Rice & John Timmons
  • Beth Niven & Greg Shaw
  • Faith Oates (maid of honor) & Liam Young (best man)
  • Mr. & Mrs. Jeffrey Jett
  • Alice Mays & Heath Urban
  • Erica Paisley & Ian Vaughan
  • Cher Queen & Kyle Witt
