| From the introduction, the six sister-brother pairs got on the ferris wheel in
clockwise order 1st-6th and then off in the same order; the chairs are
arranged in pairs on opposite ends of the three arms of the wheel. Neither
Erica (clue 4), Michelle (8), Heather (9), nor Britney (11) was 1st to
board, so Ashley or Kendra was. If Ashley were 1st on the ferris wheel,
by clue 7, the Snow White-themed chair would have been the 4th one filled.
By clue 4, then, since Ashley wasn't in the Pinocchio chair (10) and Levi
didn't ride in the Snow White chair (2), the Pinocchio chair would have been
the 3rd filled, Erica would have gotten on the Snow White chair, and Levi
would have been 5th to board the ride. By clue 1, Kendra would have been
3rd and Ian 6th to get on the ferris wheel. Since Levi didn't ride the
Cinderella chair (2), by clue 11, Ashley would have ridden the Cinderella
chair and Britney would have been 2nd on the ride. By clue 8, Daniel would
be Erica's brother and Michelle Levi's sister. By elimination, Heather
would be Chad's sister--no (5). Therefore, Ashley and her brother weren't
1st on the ferris wheel; Kendra and her brother were. By clue 1, then,
Chad was 4th to board. By clue 7, Ashley and her brother were either 2nd
or 3rd to get on. If they were 3rd, the Snow White chair would have been
6th to fill (7). By clue 4, then, since Ashley wasn't in the Pinocchio chair
(10) and Levi didn't ride in the Snow White chair (2), the Pinocchio chair
would have been the 1st filled, Erica would have gotten on 2nd, and Levi
would have been 3rd to board the ride. By clue 8, Daniel would have been
5th and Michelle 6th to get on the wheel. Since Levi didn't ride the
Cinderella chair (2), by clue 11, Chad would have ridden the Cinderella
chair and Britney would have been 5th on the ride. By elimination, Heather
would be Chad's sister--again, no (5). Therefore, Ashley and her brother
weren't 3rd on the ferris wheel and were 2nd. By clue 7, the Snow White
chair was the 5th one filled. Since Ashley wasn't in the Pinocchio chair
(10) and Levi didn't ride in the Snow White chair (2), by clue 4, the
Pinocchio chair was the 4th filled, Erica got on 5th, and Levi was 6th to
board the ride. Since Chad isn't Heather's sibling (5), by clue 9, Heather
would be Levi's sister; and the Ugly Duckling chair was filled 3rd. By
clue 11, Ashley and her brother rode the Cinderella chair, with Britney in
the Ugly Duckling. By elimination, Michelle is Chad's sister and Daniel
then Britney's brother (8). By clue 6, Nick is Erica's brother; and the
last chair filled was Little Red Riding Hood. By elimination, the 1st
chair boarded was the Three Little Pigs--by Jeremy, with Ian in Cinderella
(3). In sum, the sister-brother pairs boarded and rode the Fairy Tale Ferris
Wheel in order as follows:
- 1st - Kendra & Jeremy, Three Little Pigs
- 2nd - Ashley & Ian, Cinderella
- 3rd - Britney & Daniel, Ugly Duckling
- 4th - Michelle & Chad, Pinocchio
