| By clue 1, the character Jed Major dies immediately before the character
killed in a tree house fire, while the latter dies immediately before the
character who is a jockey. By clue 4, Molly Pelham dies earlier than the
character who falls off a cliff, while the latter is written off the show
earlier than the archaeologist. Between the two clues, then, Jed Major and
Molly Pelham must be two of the first three characters to die during the
"Totally Lost" 2005-06 season; Jed Major and Molly Pelham are killed off
2nd-3rd or vice versa, or one of them is 1st to die with the other then
2nd or 3rd. We will try the 2nd-3rd possibilities first. If Jed Major
were the 2nd character to die on "Totally Lost" during the season, the one

and the archaeologist 5th (4). However, there is then be no way for Angel
Lopez and the news anchor in clue 5 to fit in this arrangement. If Molly
Pelham were the 2nd and Jed Major the 3rd character to die off the show, by
clues 1 and 4, the one killed in the tree house fire would be 4th and the
jockey 5th (1) and the one falling off a cliff 3rd and the archaeologist 4th
(4) to die during the season. Again, however, there is then no way for Angel
Lopez and the news anchor in clue 5 to fit in this arrangement. So, in clues
1 and 4, either Jed Major or Molly Pelham is 1st to be killed off "Totally
Lost" this year. If Molly Pelham were the 1st to go, then Jed Major would
be 2nd or 3rd to die. If Jed Major were 2nd, then by clue 1, the one killed
in the tree house fire would be 3rd and the jockey 4th to die. By clue 5,
the jockey would be Angel Lopez, with the news anchor 5th to be killed during
the season. Then by clue 4, the archaeologist would be 3rd to leave the
series, with the 2nd character to die during the year falling off a cliff.
By clue 2, the character falling off a cliff would be the chemical engineer,
with Thad Green then the archaeologist. Belle Blue would be the news anchor,
by elimination. By clue 3, Molly Pelham would be gored by a wild boar, with
either Angel Lopez or news anchor Belle Blue then dying after being stung by
a Portuguese Man-of-War, a conflict with clue 5. So, if Molly Pelham were
the 1st character to die, Jed Major wouldn't be the 2nd. If Molly Pelham
were 1st and Jed Major 3rd, by clue 1, the one killed in the tree house fire
would be 4th and the jockey 5th to die. By clue 5, Angel Lopez would be the
2nd character to die, with the news anchor 3rd to be killed during the season.
By clue 2, the chemical engineer would die 4th in the tree house fire with
Thad Green then the jockey. However, there is no way for clue 4's
archaeologist to fit in this arrangement. Therefore, Molly Pelham isn't the
1st to die during the "Totally Lost" season; Jed Major is. By clue 1, then,
the 2nd character off the series dies in a tree house fire and the 3rd is the
jockey. Molly Pelham is 2nd or 3rd to die. If Molly Pelham were 3rd, by
clue 4, the 4th one to die would fall off a cliff, with the archaeologist
the 5th character off the show. However, there would then be no way for
Angel Lopez and the news anchor in clue 5 to fit in this arrangement. So,
Molly Pelham is the 2nd character written out of the cast this year. In
clue 5, Angel Lopez then is the 3rd or 4th character to die on "Totally Lost"
this season. If she were 3rd, the news anchor would be 4th (5). There is no
way for the chemical engineer and Thad Green in clue 2 to fit in this
arrangement, however. So, Angel Lopez dies 4th and the news anchor 5th.
By clue 4, then, Angel Lopez is the archaeologist; and the jockey dies by
falling off a cliff. The chemical engineer is Molly Pelham and Thad Green
the jockey (2). By elimination, Belle Blue is the 5th to die; and Jed Major
is the dancer. By clue 5, Jed Major dies after being stung by a Portuguese
Man-of-War. Finally, Angel Lopez is killed when she is gored by a wild
boar (3). Belle Blue eats the poison roots. In sum, the five characters
who die during the 2005-06 season of the TV hit "Totally Lost" are
- 1st -- Jed Major, ballet dancer, Portuguese Man-of-War
- 2nd -- Molly Pelham, chemical engineer, tree house fire
- 3rd -- Thad Green jockey, fall from a cliff
