| From the introduction, the Fillmore Dirigible is opening at major
concerts every Saturday in August: Aug. 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31. By
clue 1, the concert in Collegeville won't be on Aug. 24 or 31; and by
clue 4, the Ramona event also won't be on either of those days. Since
the Alan Jefferson concert isn't on Aug. 31 (2), the concert in La Vista
also isn't on Aug. 24 or Aug. 31 (7). The Ocean City and Beechview
events are the last two weekends, in some order. The Marquee isn't
in Ocean City or Beechview (8); therefore, by clue 1, the concert at
The Marquee must be on Aug. 17 and the one in Collegetown on Aug. 3.
The concert on Aug. 10 must be in Ramona or La Vista. If it were in
La Vista, the Alan Jefferson concert would be on Aug. 17 (7). Then
by clue 4, the Ramona event would be on Aug. 17, the Ann-Leigh Rhymes
concert would be scheduled for Aug. 24, and Hard Hearted Hannah's
would be the Aug. 31 venue. Since the Blue Boys concert isn't the one
at Hard Hearted Hannah's (6), by clue 9, the Blue Boys concert would be
on Aug. 10, and the Collegetown venue would be the Copa Club. The
Blue Boys concert isn't the one at Independence Hall (3), so it would be
at the Desert Amphitheatre on Aug. 10 in La Vista--a conflict with clue 10.
So, the concert on Aug. 10 isn't in La Vista; it is in Ramona, with the
La Vista event on Aug. 17. By clue 4, the La Vista concert stars
Ann-Leigh Rhymes, and the Aug. 24 concert venue is Hard Hearted Hannah's.
By clue 7, the headliner at Hard Hearted Hannah's will be Alan Jefferson.
By clue 9, the Collegetown concert is at the Copa Club; and the Fillmore
Dirigible opens for the Blue Boys on Aug. 10 in Ramona. The Ramona
venue isn't Independence Hall (3); it is the Desert Amphitheatre, and the
concert in Independence Hall is on Aug. 31. By clue 3, the Mississippi
Mudhowlers headline the Copa Club show, with Gareth Rivers starring at
Independence Hall. Finally, the Gareth Rivers concert is in Beechview and
the Alan Jefferson event in Ocean City (5). The Fillmore Dirigible will
open for the country stars as follows:
- Aug. 3 - Mississippi Mudhowlers at the Copa Club in Collegetown
- Aug. 10 - Blue Boys at the Desert Amphitheatre in Ramona
- Aug. 17 - Ann-Leigh Rhymes at The Marquee in La Vista
- Aug. 24 - Alan Jefferson at Hard Hearted Hannah's in Ocean City
- Aug. 31 - Gareth Rivers at Independence Hall in Beechview
